Liverpool have asked Barcelona to pay £133 million to sign Philippe Coutinho, according to reports.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Camp Nou in recent weeks as part of Barcelona’s plans to convince Neymar to stay with the club following reports that the Brazilian wants to leave the club after getting tired of being in the shadow of Lionel Messi.
Paris Saint Germain are said to be negotiating a massive deal with Barca over a transfer move for Neymar after agreeing a mouth staggering five-year deal with the attacker.
Barca are believed to have started efforts to convince Neymar to stay at Camp Nou by assuring him that he will be their number one free-kick taker next season and also bring in his favourites in order to make him remain with them as Paris Saint Germain have a crop of Brazilian teammates in their first eleven.
Reports in Spanish outlet, Sport claim that Liverpool have asked Barcelona to pay £133 million to sign Philippe Coutinho.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has earlier insisted that the Brazilian attacker will not be sold this summer despite serious interest from Barca. However, it is understood the 26-year-old is open to a move away from Anfield.
