Three Nigeria Football Legend Honoured By CAF

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) at the 39th Ordinary Congress which took place at the Nelson Mandela Hall of the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, paid tributes to three Nigeria football legends. This legends are late Stephen Keshi, Shuaibu Amodu and Peter Ogba.

Keshi and Amodu who were Super Eagles coaches several times in their careers, died in 2016, within weeks of each other.

Both Keshi and Shuaibu were remembered with the CAF Golden Order of Merit for their immense contributions to African football. Also Peter Ogba was honored with a posthumous award.
